

The California Veterans Outreach Program is an American GI Forum Partnership with state and federal Non-Profit status endeavoring to provide community assistance to Veterans and Families. Outreach programs developed and managed by AGIF Chapters of California include a variety of services including:
Facilitating veterans rights and services information, housing development sourcing, service disabilities guidance,
education & training and self help information. Some programs are ongoing and others are in the early stages of development. Contact your nearest AGIF chapter for a full listing of assistance and programs offered within your local community.
OBJECTIVES
Provide assistance and referrals to Veterans and families suffering from war and peacetime
illnesses
Provide assistance and outreach relating to shelter, food clothing, and transportation
Provide substance abuse education and counseling on alcohol, tobacco and drugs
Provide education and training on how to purchase/finance homes
Provide education and training on all aspects of Veterans benefits and services from various governmental programs
Provide funding to acquire or build low-cost housing
Operate Outreach and Service Centers
