Serving California's Central Valley

Great Mid-Year Meeting

I want to thank our officers for a job well done in helping out this past weekend at the American GI Forum Mid Year conference. Ted Fonseca, Nick Molina,  Armando Montes, and Associate member Roman Molina you did an outstanding job.. Thank you for helping out and supporting the Central Valley Chapter. As a local chapter we paid the fees for 5 members to attend the conference. This, we know, helps out with the costs involved in putting on the function at VFW post 8900. Again, it was an excellent function with dignitaries, such as Henry T. Perea who is running for Mayor, Barbara Ward Deputy  Secretary Women and Minority Veterans affairs, and several others. I am glad that this chapter was able to provide assistance to the over-all function. We realize that it takes coordination and a lot of effort to put these type of events together and the organizational leadership and resources were excellent. We can only get better as we go, the American GI Forum has been around for 60 years,  and will be around another 60 years. Working together as a team is always productive, especially when is comes to creating interest and providing incentives to our members, veterans, and the community. In the spirit of networking and collaboration, once again thanks again for your efforts and for the recognition.
